About these tools

Each calculator is intentionally narrow in scope. It tries to answer a simple question with as few inputs as possible to give a high-level response. It also attempts to name the things the napkin math leaves out: procedure mix, no-shows, the second half of any loan. The point is to give you a useful number quickly, and to make the difference between that number and your real one obvious.
